Fahmida Riaz was born in 28 July 1945 in Meerut. She was writer,poet, and human rights activist. She was wrote more than 15 books in which some prominent books are Pathar ki Gaban in 1967 and some prominent poem's are Dup, Pura Chand and Aadmi ki Gandagi and some prominent novels are Ginda Bihar, Godavri and Karachi. After writing these books she were facing lots of problems in spite of she was fired from her job and facing banishment.
In her childhood she was taking interest in literature and writing in this filed. So she was learned many languages like Urdu, Shindhi and Farsi. After that she was working at the place of Newscaster in Radio Pakistan. After that she was in matrimonial relationship but unfortunately she divorced her husband and back to Pakistan. After that she was second time in matrimonial relationship with Zafar Ali Ugaan. After second marriage she wrote a book named Aawaj after writing this book she was baaned and her husband was sent to jail.
When she was died then a Pakistani writer said that"she was light in the darkness of dictatorship."
